CEW Scholarships making dreams come true

“The scholarship has been an important way for letting some women’s dreams come true about being something that they dreamt about but didn’t think they could ever be” (Quote from Wendy McCarthy on CEW Pathfinders CD).

CEW has been awarding scholarships since 1992. One of the first recipients of a CEW scholarship was Helen Conway, who was a lawyer.  Helen has gone on to a very significant career, playing a significant role in legal counsel in big businesses .  In early 2011 Helen was appointed, Director, Equal Opportunities for Women in the Work Place, and as such has also become a member of CEW.

“There is now a good alumni group of the women who are connected through the opportunities that the CEW gave them and I hope the cascading effect of that is that in their lives they’ll reach out for other women and help them.” (Quote from Wendy McCarthy on CEW Pathfinders CD).
