Increasing the number of women leaders in Australia’s business community can be fast-tracked

Increasing the number of women leaders in Australia’s business community can be fast-tracked by equipping emerging women leaders with greater skills and networks to realise their own potential.

In recognition of the need for intervention to increase the number of women leaders in Australia, CEW has created the Leaders Program (formerly Talent Development Program) to address the core issue of self-confidence held by emerging women leaders. This is in part achieved by structured networking with women in existing positions of leadership, which is at the heart of CEW’s vision of women leaders enabling women leaders.

With the direct support of more than 20 of Australia’s largest corporations, CEW is this year running the Leaders Program, now in its sixth year, for over 100 of Australia’s emerging women leaders. CEW invests considerable resources in the Leaders Program, which complements other programs such as the scholarship and CEO Kit to further its agenda to increase the number of women leaders in Australia.
